Description

The site of a former scrap yard was remediated by excavation, treatment and disposal of contaminated soils to reach the strict criteria agreed with the regulator to permit residential development. Upon successful validation of the site we were awarded the groundwork s package to undertake the design and installation of CFA piling, reinforced concrete foundation and basement construction, installation of drainage and on site services, all brickwork up to damp course and the installation of precast groundfloor slabs. Following the successful completion of both the remediation and ground works packages, FSL were also awarded the two reinforced concrete frame contracts, one of 5 and the other of 9 storeys.
