Groundworks and Infrastructure
These activities are often an integral part of land reclamation and FSL is able to offer the simplicity and cost effectiveness of dealing with both aspects under a single contract.
FSL provide an enabling and infrastructure service which is used primarily on brownfield projects. These services are varied and have included the installation of perimeter barriers, secant and contiginous drainage, road construction and conventional piling and ground beam construction.
We own our own plant and equipment and this, together with our experienced teams, means that, using an enabling works package, FSL are able to offer a complete contracting service from drainage and foundation installation to the piling of ground timbers and road building.
All projects are timed to facilitate the needs of our Clients, to meet deadlines and to provide a high quality of work.
Whilst FSL have always carried out groundworks operations for our main Clients, we are now investing heavily in the resources required to expand this service. This enables us to offer both cost and time savings to Clients, who in turn benefit from our ability to overlap our remediation and groundworks activities on certain contracts. Our groundworks team, with their experience of contaminated land, are fully conversant with the latest technologies in groundwork materials and we can, as a result, offer cost effective solutions to many groundwork related problems.
